Cookie Policy

Last updated: 2026-09-18

ClaimTheMoon uses cookies and similar browser technologies to operate the website and, with your permission where required, understand how it is used.

Cookies are small files stored by your browser. Local storage is another way a website can remember information on your device.

Essential technologies

Essential cookies and storage support functions such as signing in, account security and remembering privacy choices.

These technologies are used when needed to provide the service you request. Blocking them may prevent some features from working.

Optional visitor statistics

With your consent, ClaimTheMoon uses visitor information to measure property visits and interactions with signs or links.

The settlement can store a random browser identifier called ctm-visitor-v1 in local storage. This helps distinguish visits without putting your name or email address in that identifier.

This identifier has no automatic expiry and remains until it is removed by the website or cleared through your browser. It is not itself anonymous information merely because it does not contain your name.

Property owners receive aggregate statistics rather than visitors’ private account details.

Payments and external services

When you open Stripe checkout or its billing portal, Stripe may use technologies needed for payment processing and fraud prevention.

External videos or other embedded services may use their own cookies when activated. Optional third-party content requiring consent is held back until you permit it.

Following an external link takes you to a separate website with its own cookie policy.

Your choices

You can accept optional technologies, reject them or choose your preferences. Optional tracking remains off until you consent.

You can reopen Cookie settings at any time to change your choices. Rejecting optional tracking does not prevent you from accessing the core settlement features.

Browsing the website, scrolling or closing a notice does not count as consent.

You can also delete cookies and local storage through your browser. Clearing website data may sign you out or reset preferences.

Cookie settings provide the current list of technologies, their purposes, providers and storage periods.
