Welcome to ClaimTheMoon, a shared virtual Moon where you can explore, establish a property, display your identity or business, and participate in a developing lunar settlement.

ClaimTheMoon is operated by Roger Svensson, registered in Sweden, with registration number 6408081955 and registered address Edebovägen 130, SE-76391 Hallstavik.

These Terms apply to your use of ClaimTheMoon and purchases made through the platform.

A virtual world

ClaimTheMoon provides digital experiences and services. Properties, buildings, utilities, licences and other purchases exist within the platform.

A purchase does not give you ownership of real lunar land, physical goods, shares or an investment product. References to the lunar government and similar authorities are part of the fictional setting.

We do not promise financial returns, increases in property value, advertising results or the availability of a future buyer.

Your account

You must be at least 18, and legally able to enter into a contract where you live, to create an account or make purchases.

Provide accurate information, protect your login details and tell us if you suspect someone has accessed your account without permission. You must have authority to act for any business you represent.

Properties and prices

Buying a property gives you the right to use and customise that virtual property within ClaimTheMoon, subject to these Terms and the features described when you purchase.

Different property types have different prices. The price shown for your selected property applies.

Prices within the settlement are expressed in Lunar, written as L. The pricing reference is 1 L = US$1. Checkout shows the actual payment currency, discounts, applicable taxes and total before you pay.

Lunar is an internal pricing and accounting unit. It is not cryptocurrency, a bank deposit or a generally redeemable currency. Eligible resale proceeds are handled separately, as explained below.

Discount conditions, including any expiry date or restriction to the first subscription period, are shown with the offer.

Subscriptions and utilities

Some services, including advertising licences and property utilities, involve recurring payments. Buying a property does not automatically subscribe you to every optional service.

Before you subscribe, we show the price, billing frequency and renewal conditions. A subscription starts only when you authorise it.

Utility supplies are simulated oxygen, water, food and power. A confirmed utility payment refills the property’s supplies, represented by an Ada delivery. Supplies decrease over time.

If supplies run out, the property may enter standby. This does not itself remove your property ownership or cancel a separate advertising licence.

Subscriptions renew until cancelled. You can cancel through the available subscription controls or billing portal, or contact us at by e-mail. Cancellation normally stops the next renewal while preserving the period already paid for.

Simply leaving the website does not cancel a subscription.

Selling your property

You may list an eligible property for resale through ClaimTheMoon. You choose the asking price, and a buyer must agree to it and complete payment.

ClaimTheMoon acts as the platform intermediary and charges a 10% brokerage fee on the resale price. The remaining 90% is recorded as the seller’s eligible resale credit, subject to applicable taxes, refunds and payment disputes.

Eligible proceeds are paid through Stripe’s supported payout process. Identity verification, bank details and other required checks may be necessary. Payout timing depends on verification, payment settlement and any unresolved dispute.

The buyer receives the property and its transferable, remaining paid licences. The buyer may manage or remove those licences. Future recurring charges require the buyer’s own authorisation; the seller’s payment details do not transfer.

Transferring a property does not automatically transfer copyright or trademark ownership in its artwork or branding.

Sellers must accurately describe their listing and disclose whether they are selling privately or as a business. No resale or sale price is guaranteed.

Your content

You retain ownership of content you upload, including logos, images and text.

You give us permission to store, format and display that content as needed to operate ClaimTheMoon and provide the services you request. This permission does not transfer ownership of your content to us.

Only upload content you have the right to use. If you include content in a property sale, you must have any permissions needed for its continued display after transfer.

Our Community and Advertising Guidelines explain the standards that apply.

Advertising, external links and simulated characters

Advertising space does not include a guarantee of visitors, clicks, leads or sales. A displayed advertisement does not mean ClaimTheMoon endorses the advertiser.

External websites operate under their own terms and privacy policies.

Characters such as Ada are simulated and may use artificial intelligence. Their statements can contain errors and do not create binding promises about payments, investments or future services.

Changes, availability and account restrictions

We may maintain and improve the platform, correct errors and make changes needed for security or legal compliance.

We will give appropriate notice of material changes affecting paid services. Subscription price changes will be communicated before they apply, with an opportunity to cancel. Where the law requires consent or offers additional remedies, those rights apply.

We may restrict content or accounts for fraud, unlawful activity, serious rule violations or security risks. Where appropriate, we will explain the reason and provide a way to request review. Urgent protective action may happen first.

If we discontinue a paid service, we will explain what happens to affected purchases and provide any refund or other remedy required by law.

Your legal rights

Our Refund and Cancellation Policy explains withdrawal, cancellation and refund requests.

Nothing in these Terms excludes mandatory consumer protections or liability that cannot legally be excluded.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Sweden, without removing protections or access to courts that consumers are entitled to under the mandatory laws of their home country.

Questions or complaints can be sent to our e-mail.
